Home remedies for teeth whitening are easy and safe ways to bleach the teeth and remove marks, stains and yellowish color off them. Take three to six ripe strawberries and grind them to form a paste. Add one teaspoon of cream tartar, two tablespoon of baking soda and a cup of water to form a paste. Take a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate and with the help of finger rub this on the teeth before brushing the teeth. Let it stay for 15 minutes and later brush your teeth normally. This works as one of the useful home remedies for teeth whitening.

One of the effective home remedies for teeth whitening is provided by baking soda. It is a harsh remedy though hence shall be used once in a week for safety. Brush your teeth in the morning with plain baking soda, allow it to stay on teeth for 15 minutes and later rinse the mouth with plain water thoroughly. Another one of very safe and simple home remedies for teeth whitening is use of olive oil. Mix two drops of olive oil to the toothpaste and brush the teeth normally twice in a day, one in the morning and once before going to bed. Olive oil is very effective in preventing and removing teeth stains and can counter the ill-effects of chemical and minerals present in the water causing stains.

Take half teaspoon of baking soda, add half teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix them well to form a paste and brush the teeth with the paste either with finger or with toothbrush. Allow the mixture to stay for 20 minutes and later rinse the mouth with plain water. This is one of the effective home remedies for teeth whitening.

Add few drops of lemon juice to the regular toothpaste. Brush teeth once in the morning and once before going to bed. Lemon also helps immensely in removing stains and marks on the teeth and clean up the yellowish tint in a short time. It is also one of the useful home remedies for teeth whitening.
Another one of very useful home remedies for teeth whitening is provided by walnuts. Take 2-3 pieces of walnuts and crush them to form a paste. Use this paste for brushing teeth regularly and twice in a day. This also helps in removing stains and provides dazzling white color to the teeth.

Take a teaspoon of mustard oil and add half teaspoon of common salt to it. Brush teeth with this mixture and wait for few minutes. Later rinse mouth with normal water and brush teeth with regular toothpaste. This works as one of the easiest and effective home remedies for teeth whitening and has been used since old times. This is also useful in removing stains due to chemical presence in the water.

Always brush your teeth twice to avoid stains and yellowish color of teeth. Flossing teeth after every meal is a very good practice and helps in removing teeth stains. Avoid cola, beverages, smoking, chewing tobacco, red wine, coffee and soy sauce, these are common food items which can cause tooth stains too. Use straw to drink colas and beverages to avoid them coming in contact with teeth. Never try to scratch teeth with nails or other things to remove stains, this will damage the upper layer of the tooth and will expose it to outer environment causing pain while eating or drinking and also stains. After drinking tea or coffee remember to rinse mouth with plain water after at least 20-25 minutes when temperature of the mouth is normal, this prevents staining.
