Gargling two times in a day with a mixture made by mixing grinded cloves or clove powder, cayenne pepper in powder form and crushed ginger in glass of hot water also provides relief from pain and helps the body in clearing blocked nasal passage.

Eating pungent smelling foods like ginger and garlic is one of the useful home remedies for sinus infection and also very effective curative diet. Eat lots of mangoes during summer season to supplement the body with vitamin A. Mangoes work as preventive as well as curative remedy for sinus infection. Apart from mangoes, consumption of beet root, spinach, carrots, tomatoes and pineapple also form very supportive diet for curing sinus infection.
