Food allergy is exaggerated immune response triggered by generally harmless food substances, the symptoms of food allergy can be mild to severe and home remedies for food allergy are potent and safe ways to relieve the symptoms and avoid its reoccurrences. Normally when a person consumes food body's immune system protects against harmful bacteria, viruses and toxins which get into the system along with the diet. Eggs, milk, shellfish, peanuts, soy, tree nuts and wheat are most commonly found allergic foods for children. Though a person can become allergic to certain food at any age but a proper allergy starts at young age, most of the time at later age person develops food intolerance more commonly than food allergy. Vegetable juices and a combination of spinach, beet roots and carrot juice is one of the effective home remedies for food allergy. Squeeze fresh juice of carrots 300 ml in quantity and mix 100 ml of spinach and beet root juice each with it and consume this 500 ml of mixture once in a day. This elevates immunity system and prevents and cures food allergies effectively.



One of the simplest home remedies for food allergy is provided by lemon juice and honey. Squeeze a teaspoon of lemon juice and mix it in a glass of water, sweeten this mixture with a teaspoon of honey and drink it as first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This is one of the most effective and simple home remedies for curing and preventing food allergies. On regular intake this remedy works as anti-allergic and anti-toxic agent.

Doses of vitamin E regularly prevent all sorts of allergies and are one of the effective home remedies for food allergy too. Vitamin E possesses anti-allergen properties and its proper supplementation to the body avoids allergic reactions to prevent problem from occurring and also provides quick relief.
Eating banana regularly is one of the easiest home remedies for food allergy. If one is not allergic to banana itself then this is one of the best natural treatments for preventing and curing the allergy. Banana has excellent healing properties and also aids digestive system which helps in relieving the symptoms of food allergy and also prevents its reoccurrences.

Take pieces of ginger approximately one inch long and grate it. Add a teaspoon of honey to it and consume, it works as one of the wonderful home remedies for food allergy. Add a piece of grated ginger to regular cup of tea regularly for keeping food allergies at bay. Consuming mixture of honey and apple cider vinegar one teaspoon each before going to bed is another one of the popular home remedies for food allergy.

Avoid white sugar, bleached flours, meat products, frozen foods and pre-package foods. Avoid fried foods or foods cooked in oil, completely avoid too much alcohol, coffee or tea intake, some people believe that consumption of red wine is beneficial which is true but the quantity shall be kept strictly under control as over consumption of it can cause as well as aggravate food allergy. Always wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consuming in raw form or cooked.

One way of curing mild allergic reactions to a particular food item is by consuming that food item regularly in very small quantity. This allows the body to react to that substance in proper way and gradually the system starts accepting it normally without making any abnormal response. However if a person faces severe allergic reaction on consumption of any particular food item then this remedy shall be avoided. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and liquids always and do not get stressed out.
